4,627 miles later

We're back.

We drove from Delaware to northern Minnesota to Wisconsin to Illinois to Ohio to Pennsylvania and ended up back in Delaware again.

Gallons and gallons of gas. I didn't keep track because I didn't want to know exactly how much I $pent on ga$.

Gallons and gallons of coffee. I didn't keep track of that either. It's probably for the best to be happily oblivious to how many milligrams of caffeine I drank. Millions?

Thousands of Cheerios and Kix consumed.

Hundreds of animal crackers eaten.

Dozens of CDs listened to.

Only a handful of rest stops.

We have iron bladders.

We listened to mostly classical music because we're so refined.

(Although Svea did request Michael W. Smith on a regular basis.)

The kids kept busy in the car with things called crayons and books and thoughtful gifts from special people.

And I don't know what I would have done without the silver-tone plastic spoon from Gordy's Warming House in Cloquet, Minnesota. It kept Elin occupied for 60 miles straight once.

We bought a house.

It's really, really nice.

We get to move there in a month. A place of our very own.

But in the meantime I'll post pics of the rest of our crazy road trip. You won't want to miss it!
