The tire swing

Elin took a long nap this morning so Svea and I had plenty of time to play.

First we drew with chalk.

We admired the rhododendrons that were just starting to blossom.

We ran around.

And we smelled the azaleas. (I think these are azaleas?!)

But all that paled in comparison to the fun of the tire swing!

Our neighbor Miss Jean said, "Use it any time!"

Viggo and Svea took those words as gospel truth.
They want to be on it all the time: "Miss Jean said . . . "

After swinging for quite a while, Svea decided to dig for worms.

But then the swing hanging there looking empty and neglected was just too tempting.

So we went back over there.

It was so fun hearing her scream and giggle.

Eventually Elin woke up. I've had a great day with my girls!
