Beds for little girls!

It is warming up here in Minnesota (more or less) and Nate is able to spend some time out in the garage again without freezing the garage door shut with frozen condensation.

Plans for new beds for the girls! I'm so excited. The crib and the daybed have put on thousands of miles in travel, so after being taken apart and put together again (and again and again), they're just old and worn-out, there's no way around it. The girls need something new to sleep in.

Bunk beds that can be taken apart to make two separate twin beds.
Right now they need to have bunk beds. More floor space to play on. Plus, I'm using the fourth bedroom as a craft room *ahem* so the girls need to share their room.

Nate has been spending a lot of time running to Menards and Home Depot the past couple of weekends. And hours out in his shop.

Svea likes to visit Daddy to see what he's up to.

While Nate was out in the shop, Viggo read lots of books to the girls. The next step is to pick out a color for the beds . . . and Svea's going to be my helper for that. Elin would just pick orange, so I'm sorry to say, she wasn't invited to be a part of the decision-making crew. And if Svea chooses pink, I have the power to veto that.
