Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter! It was fun to hear Svea come out of Sunday School saying, "Happy Easta!" We were grateful to be able celebrate the resurrection of Jesus with our family and friends.

Yes, that's a Chiquita banana sticker on Viggo's vest. Sigh . . .
Svea is so excited to open Easter gifts that came in the mail!
Nate had the kids cover their eyes before they got anything.
Don't be fooled. There was LOTS of peeking.
A goat!
There is never a shortage of Legos thanks to Grandpa and Grandma Daisy!
Viggo can read his own cards now - yippee!
Another attempt to get a big brother/little sister picture. We tried!
Svea's first chocolate bunny! And a pink Peep for Viggo.
Yes, Svea is sitting all alone with egg dye. It was a long day and clearly Nate and I had already lost our common sense by late afternoon.
Over at the Stein's for Easter dinner! This was our third Easter together.
Jen makes some mean cheesy potatoes - look, everyone has clean plates! Mmm!! That's the Howes family down on the end, visiting from Maryland.
Here we are holding down the other end of the table.
Egg hunt!

Jen and I!
Alex and Viggo looking for eggs.

Svea and friend Emma were more interested in the playhouse than finding eggs.
We had some territory issues with who got to be in the house . . .
Emma is SO darling! And this little one is pretty cute too :)
Sarah and I!
Viggo managed to get in the house but was quickly evicted.
Nate was the only person Svea really wanted to be in the house with her. We could NOT believe that he could actually squeeze in there, and fit in a little pink rocking chair. What a nice daddy!
We hope your Easter was as enjoyable as ours! He is Risen!

  3. I love Easter so much, I can't help but take a million pictures :) I have a Nikon D-50 and try to avoid using the flash at all costs. Fake light murders otherwise good photos :)

  4. I love all the pics...what a lovely weekend it looks like you all had! I am with you on the flash...I am constantly trying to get my mom to turn hers off, she does not agree with us on that one! In her pictures of my kids, their faces are nearly featureless!!! Blessings to you all!!! Erica
