Svea

Svea is such a fun girl. For the past couple of days she's been saying this:

"Wow! I can't bee-weeve it!"
Like today when we got the mail, and it was just a bunch of junk, nothing fun. Immediately she said, "I just can't bee-weeve it!"

After she has a tantrum and she's calmed down, she'll say, "Wook, Mommy! I'm happy! Wook at my happy face!"

We were riding somewhere in the car the other day and we were listening to Michael W. Smith's Freedom album. Track #3 was playing. She said, "Mommy, I wuv to listen to this song wif you. That's my fwave-vorite - wif you!" Aw!

Lots of things are her fwave-vorites.
Like suckers and watermelon.
Anything involving berries.
And chocolate anything.

She's way more crazy than we thought she would be. She had us fooled until she was about 15 months old. We thought she would be the quiet kid.
Wow! We were so wrong, I can't bee-weeve it!

She loves her little sister and all babies. (She thinks she's a helper in the nursery at church.)
She is noisy.
She likes to scream with glee - especially around a napping Elin.
She doesn't want to share stuff with her brother.
Everyday she asks me where we are going.
She loves to give people hugs. She loves our neighbors.
She can be exceptionally exasperating at mealtimes.
She can tell you about Jesus and his Daddy.
She has a lot of opinions.
When she's happy she says, "Yippee!"
She gets dressed all by herself.
She loves the color pink.
She gives kisses on request!

Today I was getting lunch ready and she came into the kitchen and said, "I make sandwidge all by myself. I need knife pwease." She did make a wonderful sandwidge! I helped a little with the jam but she did the rest all by herself.

She wanted me to take a picture of the sandwidge, but I took a picture of her instead :)

We love you, Svea!

  1. Exasperating at meals? I totally understand! You described Stella here too (except you could add sensitive, dependent on routine, and loves to have tantrums!)
