Christmas is coming!

Christmas is a lot of work and a LOT of fun.

Nate's been working hard in his shop. The past few nights, he's disappeared for a few hours and comes back upstairs covered in sawdust.

While I wrapped presents yesterday morning, Svea trapped all the gnomes in the tower.

And alternate to using tape: sew wrapping paper. The result are gifts that look like ravioli! Now who wouldn't love that?

Packages being sent, and . . .

. . . packages coming in! This HUGE box was quickly emptied by our little helpers.

My funny girl took all the apples, then hid them under her bowl. Like I didn't notice. :) This isn't very Christmas-y, but she was so cute in this pic I had to add it!
Part of Nate's gift from his boss: pb and marshmallow fluff.

That unbeatable combination makes fluffernutter sandwiches, an East coast delicacy/dietary staple. Nate had never had one before we moved out here. Neither had I. Nate's coworkers were concerned about his deprivation from this wonderful creation.

I'm not sure if you can tell, but Viggo is wearing his pajamas inside-out. His teacher told him that if he wore his pj's inside-out tonight, it would snow!

  2. Nate guessed about 16"!!!! I think it worked! Why haven't we done this before? And why do I not have appropriate winter boots?!
