I know I haven't been blogging much (or at all . . .) but for good reason: we've been busy.
These photos tell the abbreviated version of what we've been up to.
I am related to some seriously cute guys.
They survived the night, and the tent, which hasn't been exposed to fresh air in years, was pronouced fit to camp in.
Elin helps make blueberry pannkaka. I love that she lined blueberries around all the edges.
Svea has been creating up a storm.
Viggo had his nose in a book at all times.
Svea has been a big help with setting the table. She likes to make it pretty . . . I love her.
And she is a big helper in the kitchen.
These cut strawberries are her handiwork.
Elin captured, but was hesitant to release, Zeke's tail. (Zeke hung out at our house for a few days.)
Then Viggo went to the lake with Grandpa and Grandma Zeke.
I took this photo of him with Nate right before he left, so I wouldn't forget what he looked like.
We've been playing games. The girls LOVE both of these games, and even I don't mind them, which is kind of amazing, so we've been playing them a lot - as in, on a daily basis, sometimes several times a day.
Svea has been making tons of perler bead creations.
And then the other day I pulled out marshmallows and toothpicks and Svea constructed all sorts of stuff.
. . . Elin just ate the marshmallows.
We have had lots of fun with a slip-n-slide.
Yes, the kids have had some slight injuries on this, but no, they don't really care.
They just get up and keep sliding.
Svea took swimming lessons, so for two weeks every weekday morning except Friday, we were at the local high school pool.
We've gone to lots of parks.
And Viggo, Svea and Elin have met lots of new friends to play with. Here they are with daughters of friends of ours from camp.
And Svea swings with a new friend when we went to Elk River a couple of weeks ago.
And more friends came over a couple of nights ago.
There was craziness in the house!
And then another friend from camp stopped by to say hi. We are blessed with some amazing people in our life!
We got to see people we love at our cousin Dayton's grad party.
Svea was so excited Uncle Fred was there :)
We are having a fabulously busy summer.
