We came home from our little snowstorm getaway, and a couple days later, the kids and I escorted Nate to surgery. Ever since that day, I have not had a moment to call my own, so I am stealing a little time to do some updates on the blog tonight.
Going back to the waterpark . . .
We had so much fun! There was a children's pool that the girls really enjoyed being in.
And Viggo - but only because there were hoses that sprayed continuously.
And sisters there to spray.
Elin couldn't wait to get in the water!
Svea and Viggo wore out the tube slide.
There was a lazy river that was perfect for floating around with little kids.
Here's Elin and Nate enjoying floating in the pool (non-river) part.
Everyone loved the stumps!
Elin was having such a great time.
She was so fun to be with in the water. She and I went down the tube slide, floated on the river, walked through the river, played on the stumps, went down the tube slide again, swam in the pool, waded through the kiddie pool, and then . . . I handed her over to Nate and he got to do all of that too!
Svea went down the tube slide approximately ten thousand times. First she went down with me, then with Nate, then by herself, then with Viggo.
Here are Svea and Viggo trucking up the steps to get to the top of the slide. They did a great job carrying the tube together!
Sometimes when we came down the slide with Elin she would duck down in the last few seconds when we'd come flying out the bottom. She looked snug as a bug all tucked up! In the photo above you can see her holding onto Nate's feet.
So to make this trip even more amazing, we had the only room with bunk beds! The kids had two sets of bunk beds in their room. It is hard to say what was more fun - the pool or the beds :)Tack så mycket, DeWan crew, for such a wonderful Christmas gift!!
