Svea is 8!

Svea is 8 and we are so glad!

Birthday breakfast.

We had a full house!

Svea wanted games.

First there was a hunt for clues to lead to treasure (the treasure was the gnome hats).

We had an obstacle course, a gnome bean relay, and what party is complete without pin-the-beard-on-the-gnome?

Even our littlest party guests had fun.

Nate made Viggo's turn a little more challenging. 

Svea is so old she already has some whiskers!

 The gnome bean relay went on so long, that participants came and went as they pleased.

 We even had some adult participation (:

Making hedgehogs out of gum paste is now something else I can add to my résumé.

After most of the partygoers went on their way, some stayed for a just-for-her handcrafted Disney Princess deck-building card game made by our friend, Matthew. What a treat!!

After the game, lego building commenced.

God has blessed us for 8 wonderful years with this sunny, creative little girl. We are looking forward to another wonderful year with her! We love you so much, Svea!!
