Happy Saturday

Just another lovely Saturday here at the house.

Elin plays with Fred the fish. It's Viggo's fish. Viggo names a lot of his stuffed animals "Fred". I think it's because he loves Uncle Fred so much!

And then there was lunch. Wow.

Viggo spent some birthday money at the bank and came home with rolls of change. He spent a lot of time today organizing and sorting all that cold, hard cash. The finds of the day? A silver dime (real silver!) and a 1969 S nickel.

Nate brought the kids to Lowe's this morning and the project today was a bank. It's definitely the best project I've seen come out of Lowe's!

There was some boot-wearin'.

Some chocolate-chip-oatmeal-pizza-bakin'.

Some tea drinkin'.

Oh yeah! And Viggo got a CAMERA for his birthday from Grandparents Daisy. Yes, that's a REAL CAMERA. As in, a Nikon Coolpix. I am not making this up.

You know what I got for my 6th birthday?

An ironing board.

Somehow I think Viggo got the better deal. Funny how that grandkid-thing works. :)

You might start seeing a whole new side of this household once Viggo starts taking a slew of photos!
